the chinese new year is here, and here's wishing everyone a blessed new year!
This year was surprisingly fun.
All the preparations throughout december was worth it. Every visit was fun and definitely fattening. New years bring together families, and it was totally fun seeing the extended families.
It seems to be that everyone's conversations goes around work, school, and kids. Once you've run out of all these to talk about, it's time to go to the next relative's house. it gets pretty dull after a while. But that's when you start playing with the kids.
Reunion dinners are always made interesting by the kids. Having a tight family's heart warming, but having a huge family's just fun! people your age just speak about Os and such, and the awkwardness is made away naturally when you have just the same number of points. haha! fun.
