im back im back! well, technically i wasnt gone cos i came home every night, but that's not the point. church camp is always the best. the first ever combined camp with the Geylang church, English session, and the Chinese Session queenstown. well, of course the chinese teens reigned the place cos the camp was infested by us. most of the campers were from the chinese teens. lol. so, i had lots of fun with the campers, especially our group of ppl. Qi Ai, Yu Duan, Wenqi, Huai Tian, Samuel, Yong le, and Yu En. had loads of fun with them. the captains ball and basketball games we played during siesta and bathtime, all the meals we had together, and the sermons together. lol.
wow. i havent went for a church camp for a long long time. 2 years? it felt really long. i like camps cos they let you concentrate and just. "escape" from reality for a few days. just to meditate on His words, and remember them. fellowship with the brothers and sisters in christ. it's a time for you to let down your hair when you play, yet, be serious during sermons and stuff. im kinda glad a chose this over PBB camp, even though i wasnt confirmed that i was gonna go for this camp. i just. didnt sit for the interview. i guess the main reason for not going for the PBB camp was this camp, not the competition that i'd face in the camp. well! i can't do anything about it. and i hope they all bring back the PBB brooch and show me! :D
the worships were the best. all the coolio songs. and the english sermons, were cool. the hour passed so quickly everytime. i can proudly say that i didnt fall asleep on any sermons the whole camp.i wonder how the rest can actually sleep. i guess i was having an easier time than some of us, i guess GB and being in a methodist school does help a big bit.
discussion groups were pretty quiet, cos it was very big. plus my dearest uncle sitting there, looking so fierce. but the group leaders were nicee(: it was better when they split into guys and girls. i guess, its really good. cos the groups smaller.
the girls dorm that adopted me were really really nice. i had so much fun with them! :D they were really so nice and welcoming to adopt me :D
